It’s Almost Fall!

Although the weather may not feel like it, autumn is just around the corner! This is my favorite time of year in Traverse City. Our part of the state is SO beautiful and there are always so many fun things to do.

M-22 offers one of the best fall color tours, winding through Manistee, Benzie and Leelanau Counties for 116 miles. Fall colors are expected to peak around October 7-14.

Jacob’s Corn Maze always offers fun for the whole family. This year’s “Salute to the Coast Guard” themed maze is now open for the season. Stop by Gallagher’s Farm Market just down the street for seasonal fruits and vegetables, homemade bakery products, farm animals and a pumpkin patch.

Twilight Walking Tours offers a new “Ghost Walk” in downtown Traverse City for six nights only! October 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 & 21 beginning at 8pm. Dog friendly and family friendly, this event will include a leisurely stroll through the city at night while your guide tells ghost stories.

Crystal Mountain Resort is also offering a family fun Spooktacular Saturday event on October 14, 21, and 28. Enjoy wagon rides, caramel apples, petting zoo, pumpkin carving, games and more. At 7pm, choose between the family friendly Spooky Walk or terrifying Haunted Trail.

Get outside and enjoy some fall fun in Traverse City!
