Donna is very active in Antrim County as a board member of both the Bellaire and Mancelona Chambers of Commerce. She has been voted a “Top Ten Realtor” in Northern Michigan, and won “Entrepreneur of the Year” for the Bellaire Chamber of Commerce in 2016.
Born and raised in the Detroit area, Donna loves “helping downstaters move up” and has brought many of her friends and family to the area. She has special skills working with first-time homebuyers and seniors, and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Wayne State University.

Donna’s husband Dennis Krieg works behind the scenes. He is a licensed builder and a licensed realtor who worked for 26 years at the University of Michigan Facilities and Maintenance Department.

For many years, she was the National Education Writer for Examiner.com and wrote a column for RealEstate.com. She also wrote for many newspapers and magazines. In addition, she published a children’s book, and her stories have been published in other books, including “the Best of Chicken Soup for the Soul.”
Donna has a Journalism degree from Wayne State University, and has taken Master’s level business courses. She has also taught English and Journalism to high school students.
In addition to writing, Donna worked for many years as a Human Resource Consultant for the University of Michigan Health System. She started her management career in restaurant and retail management, and is a certified Master Gardener through Michigan State University.
