DEK Realty of Northern Michigan announces the opening of a new real estate brokerage serving Antrim County and surrounding areas.

DEK, owned by Gundle-Krieg Enterprises, will be managed by Principal Associate Broker Donna Gundle-Krieg of Mancelona.

Donna’s daughter Ellie Krieg of Traverse City joins the company as a licensed Realtor. Husband Dennis, a Realtor and licensed Builder, is also very involved in the business.

Donna, formerly of bluNorth Realty, has serviced hundreds of clients in the area over the past three years. Donna is very active in Antrim County as a board member of both the Bellaire and Mancelona Chambers of Commerce. She is also a lector at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Bellaire.

Born and raised in the Detroit area, Donna loves “helping downstaters move up” and has brought many of her friends and family to the area. She has special skills working with first-time homebuyers and seniors, and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Wayne State University.

Ellie Krieg is very active in the Traverse City area, where she is a board member of Grand Valley State University Traverse City Alumni Club. She is also involved in Traverse City Young Professionals and AC Paws.

Ellie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies, and a background as a paralegal. She especially looks forward to working with first time homebuyers and sharing her own experience.

By the way, the name of the business stands for “Donna and Ellie Krieg,” but the word “DEK” also means “ten,” which is a pretty good number!
